Hotels All of the hotels in the ASHG
official hotel block are in compliance with
current ADA regulations. Some hotels offer
more amenities than others. Please review

Hotel ADA Information Chart for
further information or contact the hotel
directly if you have specific questions.
Convention Center
The Pennsylvania Convention
Center is committed to accommodating the
needs of individuals with disabilities.
*The Center is accessible with convenient curb cuts
for easy access and automatic doors at two
entrances located at 12th & Arch Streets.
Telephones, drinking fountains and restrooms
located throughout the facility are
wheelchair accessible.
*Elevators: Meeting rooms, exhibit halls and public
areas are all served by conveniently located
elevators and portable lifts. Additionally,
elevators are alarm equipped with two-way
communications to the Pennsylvania
Convention Center operators. All elevators
inside the facility are equipped with
Braille instructions, both inside and
outside elevator cabs.
*Braille instructions can be found on the automated
teller machine (ATM), inside and outside all
elevators and beside the artwork that is
throughout the building.
*Telephones are designed to accommodate wheelchair
access. Hearing aid compatible volume
control pay phones are available in each
bank of public telephones, and TDD phones
are located at entrances and various exhibit
halls. Coin operated and credit card TDD
telephones are also available.
*Restrooms: Restrooms that contain larger stalls are
identified with the International
Accessibility Symbol. Handicapped stalls
have both raised toilet seats and side bars.
*Portable assistive listening devices are
available upon advance request. Please

*There are several public parking lots conveniently
located in the surrounding area of the
Pennsylvania Convention Center. Please visit

*Administrative offices are located on the 200 level of the
east wing and are accessible by elevator.

The city provides easy access for all
residents and tourists. The Transportation
System provides ramp access and designated
wheelchair parking inside each train and all
city buses have wheelchair lifts or ramps.
Public transportation (SEPTA)
operates many lift-equipped buses on its
fixed routes. For information on routes and

available to eligible disabled visitors upon
